Little Miss M

Today our little friend came by for her 5 year photos. I can't believe how much she's grown in a year! We dragged our red chair out in the field so we could do some shots with that. We also made a little bit of use to our new rock wall.We had so much fun, as we always do with her. Can't wait for her to see her proofs!

Random Thoughts

Yesterday we messed around with some different lighting techniques. Since my daughter, wasn't home, I got to be the guinea pig. Thus, the photo on this page.

Today was a beautiful day. Actually, its been a beautiful week. We've actually had more than 2 with no rain. Shhhh! Let's hope it stays that way for tomorrow. Little Miss M is coming for her 5 year photos. She is such a ham and we always have fun with her.

I made some contacts for some different events. We will be doing a Poker Run for the Tobyhanna Army Depot. We LOVE Poker Runs! This one is on August 16. More details to follow.

Those are my thoughts for now. The sun is going down, dinner is almost ready, and my daughter will be home from soccer practice, so that's it for now.

Open House

We started making plans for our Open House. We hope to make this one bigger and better than last year. Mark your calendars. September 13th from 12:00 to 7Pm. It will be held at our studio in Madison Township.

We are going a couple weeks earlier this year to allow for a cookout and hopefully some nice weather!

We will have lots of prizes. Door prizes, prizes for the kids, special discounts for booking a session, and special gifts for anyone who brings a friend with them!

All families receive a free outdoor mini- portrait session, along with a chance to play in our new photo booth!

Outdoor Studio

It has been in the talking stages for a while. An outdoor studio. Last weekend my cousin Jeff, from Fischer Brothers, came over to do some landscaping for us. We decided to start with a retaining wall on the hill. This will be the starting point. Eventually, it will work its way down the hill, with different scenes as it goes. We hope this will give us many different looks. Whether you are a high school senior, a bride-to-be, or a mom who wants a photo that will capture your child as he/she plays outside, we hope this will have something unique to offer.

The wall itself is finished. There's a lot of raking and rock picking left to do. In front of the wall will be a fieldstone "patio". Now we need some plants. Who's got some suggestions?
