This Sunday we will be at Tobyhanna for a Poker Run to benefit Operation Santa Claus/Support the troops. Registration begins at 8am at Electric Ciy Harley in Dickson City and ends at the picnic grounds in Tobyhanna.
The Super Saver ads came out today. The ad for our open house is in there. For any of you who did not see it, or don't get the Super Saver, our open house is Sept 13, from noon to 7pm. We will have the photo booth set up, along with doing mini sessions outside. There will be door prizes along with a chance to win other prizes, one of which is $100 in print credits.
We also found out today this week that we will be in the Greene Dreher Sterling Fair (GDS Fair). This fair runs from Sept 1 to Sept 7. If you have never been there, try to get there this year. I have gone to this fair as long as I can remember. It was always an end of summer thing. It meant the summer was over. Always bitter-sweet.
September 12 is a Poker Run for Youth For Christ. More details will follow. Just found out about this one today, along with a High Tea for Youth For Christ. This will be on October 17th.
October 2 from 6-9pm we will be at St Luke's church in Scranton for First Friday. This is a free event. October's theme is Pets. Come check out the pet art. Last year they had animals for adoption and the dancing dogs. Pets are welcome!
November 13th we will again be photographing the Ball of Hope for the American Cancer Society at the Scranton Cultural Center. This is a great excuse to get dressed up and go out.
Dinner is phenominal. There is also dancing, lots of raffle baskets, and of course us. Great way to help a great charity.

Outdoor Studio
It has been in the talking stages for a while. An outdoor studio. Last weekend my cousin Jeff, from Fischer Brothers, came over to do some landscaping for us. We decided to start with a retaining wall on the hill. This will be the starting point. Eventually, it will work its way down the hill, with different scenes as it goes. We hope this will give us many different looks. Whether you are a high school senior, a bride-to-be, or a mom who wants a photo that will capture your child as he/she plays outside, we hope this will have something unique to offer.
The wall itself is finished. There's a lot of raking and rock picking left to do. In front of the wall will be a fieldstone "patio". Now we need some plants. Who's got some suggestions?
