Baby J's Cake Smash - Moscow / Scranton Children's Photographer

Baby J's mom said she wanted to do a cake smash to celebrate his first birthday. She warned us that he would be messy. He was the messiest baby by far! He was crawling through the icing, smearing it all over the floor. When he tried to stand up, he was slipping all over the place. Ed would try to grab him, and Ed would slide. The whole scene was too funny.

Baby A

It seems that our cake smash sessions were popular two weeks ago. We had 3 in 2 days! We do love the cake smashes. We never know how a baby is going to react to them. Some dive right into the cake. Some want nothing to do with it. This little guy fell into the last category. Mom said she had trained him to be a neat freak. He was not happy that he was messy. But, we loved it!

Miss K

We love to do cake smashes! We had three last week. This little girl is the happiest, cutest baby! She was such a doll! She's got the biggest, darkest, eyes. And so many smiles! We can't wait to have her back!

Happy Birthday Scotty!

Scotty's mom called to book a session for his 1 year birthday When I suggested a cake smash, she was all into it. We love the moms who let us get creative with their kids' shoots.

Cake smashes are so much fun. You never know what you're going to get. Some kids love the icing. Some don' like to be dirty. This guy took it all in stride. He was so well behaved. These are some of our favorite shots from his session.

K's Cake Smash

We finally had the pleasure of doing a cake smash! Our first victim, I mean client, was Miss K. It's hard to believe she is 1 year old already! We put the cake in front of her and she didn't know quite what to do. After some help from mom, she was soon covered in icing and bits of cake. We put some music on, and she really started jamming. Such a cutie and such a mess she made! Good job, K! Mom and I went upstairs to give her a bath and left Ed to clean most of the mess. Poor Ed! Here are some of our messiest and favorites from her session.
